Springtime marks the beginning of a new season with leaves falling and nature changing its course. Winds blow and it becomes very imperative to care for your skin during this point of time. Having glowing skin is the desire of all women. The glow and radiance might get affected mostly during spring but with good skincare, it would be possible to get the glow back. There are many home remedies which can be used on skin and it does not have any harmful effects on the skin as well. These remedies are easily available at home and easy to make. Some of the home remedies are listed as under:

  • MILK:

MILK

When it comes to skin, milk is a contributing factor to healthy and glowing skin. Raw has so many ingredients in them which are skin-friendly like Saturated fat, protein, calcium, etc. Honey mixed with milk makes your skin moisturized and skin cells glow from inside. Take 2 teaspoons of milk and 1 teaspoon of honey. Mix all the ingredients and form a paste. You should apply it on your face and keep it for about 20 minutes. Wash it with warm water. This process can be done twice a week.

  • SAFFRON:

SAFFRON

Saffron has been used from olden times to having clear and healthy skin. It has the presence of antioxidants which protects skin from any kind of damage. During spring, the weather starts getting hotter and protection from UV rays is a must. Take 1 tablespoon of honey and 4 strands of saffron. Keep the strands of saffron soaked for some time in honey and then use the mixture to be applied on face and neck. Put the mixture on for 10 minutes and then rinse it off. This is a natural way and can be done 4 times a week.

  • TURMERIC:

TURMERIC

Turmeric has been used for getting healthy skin right from the earlier days. It has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties in it. The radicals which lead to damaging of skin is reduced with turmeric. The production of collagen helps one in getting glowing skin. Take 1 teaspoon of turmeric and a ¼ cup of milk. Mix turmeric with milk and form a paste. Apply this paste on your face and neck. Keep this for about 20 minutes and then rinse it with cold water. This remedy can be practiced twice a week.

  • ROSEWATER:

ROSEWATER

Rosewater is a renowned skin toner which refreshes skin and let the dead skin cells to be removed. This remedy helps in proper blood circulation which helps one to get a glowing skin. The pH level of your skin is also balanced. Take 1 bottle of rose water and a cotton ball. Firstly, start by keeping the bottle of rose water in the fridge for about half an hour. Take a cotton ball and pour some drops into it. With clean hands, apply the rose water all over your face. Now, this is a simple technique which can be done daily.

  • HONEY:

HONEY

Honey is known for having microbial properties which lead in getting a glowing skin. Any kind of blemishes from the skin is removed because of its antioxidants properties. Skin is cleaned thoroughly and skin becomes soft and supple. Take 4 drops of honey into a cotton ball. Honey needs to be applied on damp skin. Massage it in the circular motion and keep it for about 5 minutes. All the dirt present will be removed. Wash it with lukewarm water. Honey can be applied on alternate days. One can also use honey scrub as a substitute.

  • CUCUMBER:

CUCUMBER

Cucumber helps in cooling your skin. It rejuvenates dull skin and removes the dead skin cells to help you get glowing skin. It helps you a fairer skin tone and any kind of impurities are removed with ease. Take 1 cucumber and 3 tablespoons of yogurt. Grate the cucumber and add yogurt to it. Beat it properly to form the required paste. Apply it on your face and neck and keep it for 10 minutes. Wash it off with cold water. This process can be practiced 3 times a week.

  • GREEN TEA:

GREEN TEA

Green tea is rich in flavonoids which restore the collagen production in your skin. The elasticity of your skin is enhanced and it, in turn, helps to enhance the glow of your skin. Take 1 tablespoon of green tea leaves, 1 cup of water and 1 teaspoon of cream. Boil the leaves and extract the color from those leaves. Cool the mixture and add cream to it. Form a paste. Apply it entirely all over your face in a circular motion. Keep it for about 10 minutes and wash it with cold water. This can be done once a week.

  • BAKING SODA:

BAKING SODA

Baking soda is a good defoliator and it cleanses the skin by removing the dead cells from your skin. It neutralizes the pH levels of your skin and keeps it balanced. It heals any kind of injuries because of its inflammatory properties. Take 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of honey. Mix all the ingredients properly in a bowl and mix it well to form a paste. Apply it on your face in circular motions. Leave it for 7-10 minutes and wash it with normal cold water. Apply this pack to your face once a week.

  • LEMON:

LEMON

Lemon helps in removing the dead skin cells from your skin. It helps to remove tan and cleanses the skin. Lemon also helps to brighten the skin. Take 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 2 teaspoons of sugar. You must mix all the ingredients and apply it on your face. Rinse it with lukewarm water. This process can be done on alternate days.

These are some of the ingredients which can be used during spring to protect your skin from any kind of damage. Preparation of all these ingredients just takes 2 minutes and you can get beautiful skin just by sitting at home.
