Everyone loves strong and glossy hair but unfortunately due to pollution and dirt, it becomes hard most of the time. Frizzy and dry hairs are quite common problems and one product commonly used by women after hair wash is a serum. But a tiny bottle of hair serum is worth a lot of money. This is where homemade hair serums come into play. You can make your hair serum using certain ingredients. These homemade serums do not have any harsh chemicals and can be made as a fresh batch every week. Hair serums can be made with a combination of essential oils and also hair oils. You can customize hair serums depending on your hair type.

  • This homemade hair serum is a quick fix for dull-looking hair. You can use this serum on your scalp for beautiful hair. Use it as pre-wash oil from roots to tips for about an hour before washing. As it is a mixture of essential oils, it will boost the growth of hair. Things you need to prepare this hair serum:
    • Grape Seed Oil: 2 tablespoons
    • Avocado Oil: 1 tablespoon
    • Argan Oil: 1 tablespoon
    • Jojoba Oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Take a glass bottle and mix all of these ingredients. Stir all of the mixtures and blend them. This serum should be kept in a cool and dry area. Before using the serum, shake it well, and customizing the recipe can be done depending on the length of your hair. This shower works best before the shower but you can use it after the shower as well. In case of damp hair, use very little of it or your hair will feel weighed down.

  • Take a glass bottle and put all the ingredients there. Before the process of application, take warm water and put all oils in it for warming the oils. Take the oil in your palm and apply it from root to tip and brush it using a good hairbrush. See that no frizzes or curls are forming and hair should fall straight to your shoulders. If you want to use this serum after hair wash, then take a few drops on your hand and place it evenly on your hair. Blow drying of hair will prevent any curls from forming in your hair.

  • If you are looking for a perfect ingredient for oily hair, aloe vera gel can work wonders. It helps in making hair smooth and shiny by nourishing scalp and roots. Aloe Vera Gel is not heavy at all and it can be washed away with a single wash. If you have both dry and oily hair, the ingredients which you need to use are listed as under:
    • Argan Oil: 2 tablespoons
    • Aloe Vera Gel: 6 tablespoons
    • Tea Tree Oil: 7 drops
    • Lavender Oil: 5 to 7 drops
    • Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • If you have fresh aloe vera gel, you can use it or if you have no access to fresh aloe, you can also take the shop purchased one. Take all ingredients in a bowl and start by getting rid of all the lumps present in fresh aloe. A combination of almond oil and Argan oil is best for nourishment to the scalp and almond oil is highly hydrating. Almond oil has a very light texture. This hair serum is very easy to wash off. Applying it before 2-3 hours of shampoo can leave positive results on your hair.

  • If you are suffering from frizzy hair, then this hair serum is perfect for use. You can make hair serum using ingredients like coconut oil, rose water, aloe Vera gel, and Vitamin E capsules. Rose water helps in boosting hair growth. Some of the essential ingredients used are:
    • Coconut Oil: 1 teaspoon
    • Rose Water: 2 tablespoons
    • Aloe Vera Gel: 2 teaspoons
    • Vitamin E: 1 capsule
    • Jasmine Oil: 7 drops
  • Mix all the ingredients and blend them using a hand blender. Vitamin E can be put by squeezing the capsule. And then starting whisking all the ingredients. Pour the mixture into a bottle so that it does not spill. This hair serum can be used for hair wash for visible results. The shelf life of this serum is for about 2 weeks.

  • Take an empty bottle and put 2 teaspoons of jojoba oil in it. Blend the essential oil by putting in peppermint oil. Take a dark bottle and transfer all the ingredients there. Take a small amount of the hair serum on your hands and use it like always. After waiting for about 30 minutes, rinse off the serum using a good shampoo. You can store this serum easily for about a year.

    • Grape Seed Oil: 4 tablespoons
    • Vitamin E: 1 capsule
  • Vitamin E and grapeseed oil help in making your hair silky and it also deeply nourishes your hair. Lavender oil helps in getting rid of all types of scalp problems. Take a dark glass bottle and after mixing all the ingredients, put it in the bottle. Shake before using the ingredients. After leaving this mixture for about 30 minutes, wash off the serum with a mild shampoo. With continuous use, you can see your hair becoming strong and voluminous.
